Immunogenicity testing is crucial for emerging treatment strategies such as gene therapy and cancer vaccines. These tests require an assessment of both T-cell and B-cell responses. Using immunocompetent mouse models, our platform conducts immunization followed by the detection of T-cell activation through flow cytometry and Elispot methods. Subsequently, B-cell antibody production is assessed using either flow cytometry or ELISA methods, confirming the immunogenicity of the test substance.
Testing Components:
T-Cell Response: Experiments are carried out using immunocompetent mouse models, employing techniques like flow cytometry and Elispot methods to assess T-cell activation. The goal is to evaluate whether the test substance can elicit a specific T-cell response.
B-Cell Response: The generation of specific antibodies by B-cells is detected using either flow cytometry or ELISA methods. This process assesses the specific antibody production triggered by the test substance.
Cytokine Secretion: The secretion of cytokines (such as IFN-γ, IL-4, etc.) in response to the test substance is measured to evaluate the type of Th1/Th2 immune response.
Formation of Memory Immune Cells: The ability of the test substance to induce long-term immune memory is assessed, focusing on the T-cell immune response.
