1. Modeling method:
MSU deposition is a key factor in gouty arthritis. When MSU crystals are deposited in joints, they will be recognized as "foreign bodies" by white blood cells. White blood cells try to engulf these crystals, but the process will trigger a series of inflammatory reactions and release a variety of inflammatory mediators, such as cytokines, complement system, etc., leading to Symptoms of an acute gout attack include joint swelling, pain, redness, and fever. Therefore, gout animal models are mainly prepared by injecting MSU crystals into the joint cavity with a single injection, which is very similar to clinical symptoms.
